What is microneedling and how does it work?

Microneedling creates thousands of tiny micro-channels in the skin using sterile needles, triggering your body’s natural healing response. This stimulates new collagen and elastin production, improving skin texture, tone, and firmness over time.

Does microneedling hurt?

A numbing cream is applied prior to your treatment to keep you comfortable. Most clients describe the sensation as a mild vibration or light scratching — very tolerable throughout.

What is the downtime?

Expect redness the day of your treatment, similar to a mild sunburn. Light flaking or peeling may occur over the following 2–4 days as your skin renews itself. Most clients feel comfortable returning to their normal activities the next day.

How many treatments will I need?

For optimal results, we recommend a series of 4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart. After completing your initial series, maintenance treatments 3–4 times per year will keep your results looking their best.

Can microneedling be combined with other treatments?

Absolutely. Microneedling pairs beautifully with MOXI laser for acne scarring, and with tox for fine lines and wrinkles. Your provider will help you build a customized treatment plan based on your specific goals.
