- Avoid blood thinners such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E for 48–72 hours prior
- Avoid alcohol for 48–72 hours prior
- Come with a clean face the day of your appointment
- Eat beforehand and stay well hydrated
- Expect some swelling — this is completely normal and part of the process

A topical numbing cream is applied to the lips prior to treatment for your comfort. The injection process itself is quick — most appointments take 30–45 minutes from start to finish.
After Your Appointment
- Some swelling, bruising, and tenderness is completely normal and expected — especially in the first 24–48 hours
- Avoid exercise, heat, and alcohol for 24 hours
- Avoid facials and tanning for 2 weeks
- Do not massage or press on the lips immediately after treatment
- Final results are visible at 2 weeks once swelling has fully resolved
- Contact us immediately if any area appears white or blue

Lip filler typically lasts between 6–12 months depending on the product used, the amount placed, your individual metabolism, and how active your lips are.

A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to minimize discomfort. Most clients find the process very tolerable. Some tenderness and sensitivity is normal in the hours following treatment.
