Forever Clear BBL (BroadBand Light) is a non-invasive treatment for acne that uses advanced light therapy to target acne-causing bacteria and reduce inflammation. Here’s how it generally works:
- Targeting Bacteria: The BBL device emits specific wavelengths of light that target the bacteria responsible for acne, helping to reduce breakouts.
- Reducing Inflammation: The light also works to reduce the redness and swelling associated with acne lesions, promoting a clearer complexion. It also produces a yellow light to help with PIE (post inflammatory erythema) purple/redish scaring.
- Collagen Stimulation: The treatment can stimulate collagen production, which may improve the overall texture and appearance of the skin over time.
- Quick and Comfortable: Sessions are typically quick (around 30 minutes) and require minimal downtime, allowing patients to resume their normal activities shortly after.
- Multiple Sessions: For optimal results, multiple treatments may be recommended, spaced a few weeks apart.
